Easy Hummus Dip

A quick and easy appetizer. Serve with pita chips or vegetable sticks. Heart healthy, diabetes friendly and vegetarian.

  • 1 (19 oz/540 ml) can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
  • 1/4 cup reduced calorie sun-dried tomato and herb salad dressing
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 2 cloves garlic


Place chickpeas, salad dressing, water and garlic into food processor or blender. Blend to desired consistency.  Store in refrigerator until ready to serve.

Recipe notes

Cook’s Note: 1 (19 oz/540 mL) can chickpeas, rinsed and drained equals 2 cups (500 mL) cooked chickpeas.
