The IYP2016 has ambitious and innovative ideas to draw attention to an industry that has the potential to provide food that is nutritious, healthy and sustainable. In Australia, IYP gives a great opportunity to increase the domestic consumption of pulses to meet the Grain & Legumes Nutrition Council’s recommendation for all Australians to “eat legumes at least 2-3 times a week”.
For Pulse Feast, people all around Australia took photos and videos using the “Pulse Pledge” sign for a global social media campaign that raised awareness of the value of pulses.
Pulses were definitely everywhere!
