I’m enjoying this smoothie right now, and it is wonderful. I have protein powder and when reading the ingredients discovered it contains pea protein – I win! I ran out of blackberries so it’s garnished with a blueberry, of which I have plenty, so in future will make it with frozen blueberries. I spent the time. this past summer. picking ”wild” raspberries and ”wild” blackberries, strawberries and any other kind of berry you can find or imagine. I froze some, dried some (Mulberries a great to dry, but only before they change to black. I picked ‘wild rose hips, tool. They have more vitamin C that an orange has! I want to make sure that there are “NO” GMO berries, other fruits, veggies, etc., and meats with all the additives, as well, too! I guarantee you that all the ”beef” that they have in the various stores are NOT Black Angus! I’m not a fan of Black Angus beef anyway. They shoot them up with hormones, antibiotics and who knows what else and then claim it to be ”Black Angus” meat. It shows who does their research and looks at the over-all beef cattle and actually sees what is being processed and HOW they’re being processed. For what they’re doing to the cattle, it’s no wonder so many people are sick. The same with fish and seafood, too. I eat very little seafood these days. Not, for the horrendous ways they’re ”growing” the seafood industries these days! I want to KNOW what is going into my food and how its’s being raised and harvested. Some of the seafood (from the Gulf) is being shipped to other countries for packaging and putting THEIR name on it, too. Unless/Until people start wising up, there’s going to be more and more disabilities in babies, in Adults, in all of us in general. The government offices who are ”supposed” to monitor our food choices are not doing their job. They’re being called away to face others and causing them problems, instead! Plus, the more that they keep destroying our lands, at such rapid rates, the less food there will be to consume either. They cannot get rid of all of the Elderly, the poor, those to lazy to work and so much more. Until the jobs come back, as they should be, or kick their companies out of the USA and do NOT allow their products to be brought back into the USA!
But, back to this recipe….It’s a good start to a full day! There’s so much you can add or take from it to make it warm your tasted buds!
