Golden Turmeric Hummus

Ingredients

  • 1 15 oz can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp tahini
  • 3/4 tsp salt, sea
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric, ground
  • 1 large clove garlic
  • pepper, black; freshly ground (a few cracks)

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a food processor. Pulse on high until hummus is smooth and creamy.
  • If the texture is too thick, add in another tablespoon or two of lemon juice.
  • Spoon into a bowl and enjoy with fresh veggies and crackers. Enjoy!
