Basic Hummus

Ingredients
- 2 14 oz cans chickpeas, rinsed and drained
- 2 cloves garlic, finely diced
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
- pine nuts, for garnish
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a food processor. Pulse until smoothly pureed.
- Transfer to a bowl and sprinkle pine nuts and additional olive oil on top before serving.

This is a great dish and I always love to have it. I worked in middle east for about a decade as a large animal Vet and from there I started admiring Hammus. It goes well with Nan or Pita bread. You can add Yogurt and extra olive oil to make it more delicious!!
